parents
For each pass purchased, a FREE Regional Day Pass is available for parents or siblings who want to accompany the pass holder on their first transit trip. The goal of the Summer Break Pass program is to build healthy commuting habits, with the intention that kids using Summer Break Pass will be more likely to take the bus as adult commuters. In addition, by providing kids the freedom of travel, parents are able to reduce vehicle trips, miles and emissions they would otherwise create driving their kids, thereby protecting the environment and saving money. The funds gained from pass purchases are redirected into the program – providing travel training and encouraging youth to use transit.
